The Desaturating Seven [Midnight Rainbow Splatter Vinyl] (LP)
Primus
Amoeba Review
The world is about to get a little brighter for Primus fans. It's reissue time for 2017's wild, weird, and woozy epic about seven rainbow-hued goblins who take all the color from the world, based on the trippy, transfixing 1978 children's book The Rainbow Goblins by author Ul de Rico. The seventh anniversary vinyl edition of The Desaturating Seven features a gold-foil stamped jacket and comes pressed into midnight rainbow wax — a tribute fit for a goblin (or several). There's something new to discover with every spin of this prog-tinged, fairy tale adventure of an album.
