The soul/funk collective known as the Menahan Street Band returns with their first new studio album since 2012. The accomplished group is famous for accompanying the late greats Charles Bradley and Sharon Jones, as well as being sampled by many hip hop stars. On this third studio album, their instrumental music gets a new dose of moog synths and organ, adding some classic rock n' roll flavor to their standard funk and R&B fusion. This is a set of perfect soundtrack nuggets for stylized films by the likes of Tarantino, perhaps especially the exciting "Starchaser."
