LA rapper Evidence’s Unlearning Vol. 1 is smart, authentic, and packed full with sonic delights. The beats are fresh and eclectic, the lyrics are clever and bold. While Evidence is firmly behind the wheel on this latest effort, he also benefits from a stellar cast of collaborators, including production work from The Alchemist, Nottz, Sebb Bash, Animoss, Mr. Green, V Don, Khrysis, Daringer and EARDRUM (QThree) in addition to his own contributions. Also adding to the ambience are skilled performers Boldy James, Conway The Machine, Fly Anakin, Navy Blue, and Murkage Dave. Unlearning Vol. 1 should appeal to existing Evidence fans while continuing to grow his well-deserved fanbase. An excellent effort that definitely stands out among the latest hip-hop releases.
