Pop-punk (and straight up punk) fans, rejoice! Pinhead Gunpowder is back with Unt, their first album since...1997. The band began life in the early '90s, was joined by Billie Joe Armstrong before Green Day hit the big time and has chugged along since that time, getting together to record killer underground EPs. Now the current core crew of Aaron Cometbus, Bill Schneider, Billie Joe Armstrong, and Jason White are back with a fantastic new collection recorded and mixed by Green Day collaborator Chris Dugan. These songs are pure and simple punk rock: raucous, short and sweet, good-naturedly rebellious, and just plain awesome. Don't sleep on Unt.
