Watch Out For The Wolf (CD)
Ryan Bingham
Amoeba Review
Ryan Bingham's latest, Watch Out for the Wolf, is an untamed slice of country rock. Lead single "Where My Wild Things Are," with its galloping guitar and haunting whistles, evokes a sense of freedom that's tempered by a hint of sadness. Bingham's gruff vocals imbue the tracks with immediacy and authenticity, his melodies with the beauty and fragility of a life lived on the margins. Ideal music for late night drives into the unknown, Bingham deserves some buzz around this excellent collection.
