Amoeba Review
The Who's first new album since 2006 kicks off with “All This Music Must Fade,” in which the lyrics poke fun at the idea that most of their fans will criticize the record. The song itself is joyful and energetic, which adds to the tough humor, especially the spoken line “Who gives a fuck?” at the very end. “I Don't Wanna Get Wise” is infectiously melodic with an odd touch of electronic vocals on the chorus, a sign that Townshend is still keeping listeners on their toes. Daltry's vocals are huskier these days, but they're still strong and expressive.
