Will Of The People (CD)
Muse
Amoeba Review
With Will of the People, Muse proves yet again that they’re one of the most dynamic, hard-hitting, and just plain hard-rocking, arena-level alt-rock bands. The songs are epic, driving, and heartfelt, incorporating elements of industrial and glam rock into the band’s signature sound. It’s probably no surprise, from either the song titles or the sonic style, that Will of the People finds Muse grappling with environmental and political instability and trying to find a way to navigate those threats. As such, it’s an excellent soundtrack for tumultuous days: grandiose but grounded and empathetic but energized.
