Amoeba Review

You really can’t get better than the collaboration of such high caliber artists as Brian Eno and John Cale and on their 1990 release, Wrong Way Up, the duo do not disappoint. Although both musician/producers have been revered for their avant-garde and experimental work, neither has been known to shy away from elements of pop music and on this release you will hear a lot of their pop inclinations. The album touches on the keyboard virtuoso sound-scapes Eno is known for ,as well as some of the horn arrangements and rock elements Cale is known for, these elements are blended with loads of melody making for an engaging and ear pleasing listen. Highly recommended for fans of both or either artist.
