Natalie Cole - Biography
Natalie Cole, daughter of popular crooner Nat King Cole, was one of the most popular mainstream vocalists of the 1980s and 90s. She was nominated for a Grammy in 1976 for Best New Artist, had several chart hits, struggled with heroin addiction and other related substance issues, got sober in the mid 80s, won a Grammy in 1992 for the record Unforgettable, had a liver transplant in 2009, and canceled many shows in 2015 due to contracting HepC. She died December 31, 2015.
