Van Halen’s multi-platinum 1991 album For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge is getting remastered and expanded in a limited edition 2LP + 2CD + Blu-ray box set July 12th via Rhino/Warner Records.



To celebrate, we’re giving away the For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge [Expanded Edition] box set, along with a copy of Van Halen’s The Collection II on 5LP vinyl, a slipmat, double-sided poster, and a guitar pick card!


For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge [Expanded Edition] includes the album on 2LP vinyl with an exclusive Van Halen logo etching on side 4; the original album remastered on CD1; single & instrumental versions and a previously unreleased complete live show from 1991 recorded in Dallas, TX on CD2; and a Blu-ray video of the 1991 Dallas show plus HD versions of original music videos for “Right Now,” "Poundcake,” "Runaround," and "Top of the World.”

The Collection II spotlights Van Halen’s second incarnation, with singer Sammy Hagar, guitarist Eddie Van Halen, drummer Alex Van Halen, and bassist Michael Anthony. The 5LP vinyl set includes newly remastered versions of four multi-platinum studio albums released during the Hagar era: 5150 (1986), OU812 (1988), For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge (1991), and Balance (1995), along with a selection of rarities recorded between 1989 and 2004.
