OFF! - Biography

OFF! formed after Burning Brides frontman Dimitri Coats was brought in to produce a new Circle Jerks album. The album fell apart, but the all star hardcore punk group was born, with Keith Morris (Black Flag/Circle Jerks) as frontman, Coats as guitarist, Steven Shane McDonald (Redd Kross) on bass and Mario Rubalcaba (Hot Snakes/Rocket from the Crypt) as the drummer. The band's first release, the aptly named First Four EPs, was a 7" box set released in late 2010 by Vice Records. Their self-titled second album was released two years later and the band's most recent album, Wasted Years, came out in spring 2014.
