QueenAdreena - Biography

Formed in 1999 from the long-cold ashes of Daisy Chainsaw  most known for the 1991 grunge-pop single,"Love Your Money," and front-woman KatieJane Garside (whom Courtney Love dubbed "The first riot grrrl"). The band gained a cult-following, largely from frenetic live shows. In 2009, after a series of line-up changes (8 bassists and 3 drummers!), a decade long-run of releases including 4 LPs, a demos album and a slew of singles - QueenAdreena quietly fizzled out, with Garside moving onto the pastoral folk-noir of Ruby Throat and Gray taking the rest of the band to form sleaze-rockers The Dogbones.
