Soulsavers - Biography
Soulsavers is an English production and remix duo consisting of Rich Machin and Ian Glover. They have released four albums: Tough Guys Don't Dance (2003), It's Not How Far You Fall, It's the Way You Land (2007), Broken (2009), and The Light The Dead See (2012). There has been several different vocalists featured on Soulsavers albums, including Mark Lanegan, Mike Patton, Jason Pierce, Will Oldham, Richard Hawley, and Gibby Haynes. On The Light The Dead See, Dave Gahan, the iconic lead singer of Depeche Mode, was the featured vocalist for the project. This collaboration developed after Soulsavers were invited to support Depeche Mode on the European leg of the band's 2010 Tour of the Universe. In July 2012, Machin and Gahan visited Amoeba Hollywood to film an episode of Amoeba's What's In My Bag? series.
