Television - Biography

Television were an amazing band who released one of rock music's greatest debut LPs, Marquee Moon. It was so good and definitive that the band's second release, titled Adventure - a great LP in its own right - failed to measure up to the expectation set by the first, so the band broke up, only to reform in the 1990s for one more record and a tour, with original bassist Richard Hell. Both were well received, if not mind blowing. Television will forever be known for their debut, for it contains a unique brilliance most other bands rarely match.
