Giles Corey (CD)

Giles Corey
Dan Barrett of Have A Nice Life does folky-shoegaze which, as expected, is still bleak as all hell. Big ups to the Flenser for repressing this long out of print CD. Read more

'77 Live (CD)

Les Rallizes Denudes
One of the nastiest sounding live performances to ever be recorded. There are noise bands to this day that are trying to imitate this album's sound. For a while, the only way to get any of this band's recorded material was through the copious amounts of bootlegs that have been put out throughout the years. Now you can finally get them in an OFFICIAL capacity! Be sure to also pick up all the other recent Les Rellizes reissues that came out, because why not? Read more

To The Forest To Live A Truer Life (LP)

YoshimiOizumikiYoshiduO
A one-off project featuring Boredoms’ members Yoshimi P and Izumi Yoshidu. Instead of making the usual unhinged psych punk, they’re doing unhinged ambient. Imagine a jambalaya of Terry Riley, Oneohtrix Point Never, Tim Hecker, Fennesz, and copious other artists you might find on the Touch roster. Now hopefully Thrill Jockey will also do a CD issue so copies of those won’t be so dang expensive… Read more

Duster (CD)

Duster
When Duster first dropped this album back in 2019, people were shook! It was their first release since 2000’s “Contemporary Movement” which, at that time, no one was paying attention to them. But within the 19 years it took for their return, the band became legends thanks to the internet. This album picks right back up where they left off! More space-themed slowcore full of fuzz, feedback, and drones. Oddly enough, it took an additional 4 years for this album to get a proper CD release; the band had even released a follow-up album to this in 2022! But finally, CD lovers can rejoice and add this one to their collections. Read more

Factory (LP)

Cheree
Gotta shout-out a local band on here! These guys rule! With brutal drum machine beats, crunchy guitars, and insane vocals, this is one of the coolest industrial- punk EPs I’ve ever heard. Highly recommend this record and highly recommend catching them live. Read more

Bleach - O.S.T. (LP)

A very random thing to get issued on vinyl this year but cool, nonetheless! I used to pirate the mp3s of this soundtrack when I was a teenager and listen to it on my 2 GB iPod Nano. Now I can listen to it from my turntable. Imagine that! Read more
